Up2 is a fitness tracker that goes on your wrist. It has a unique design and can help you monitor your vitals and sleeping cycle through a mobile app. A fitness tracker is a must-have for people that are obsessed with keeping their physical and mental health in perfect condition.
You have to pair the wrist band with the mobile app for it to function properly. But some customers are having issues in getting it to pair with their mobile phones. Here are some ways you can troubleshoot this problem.
UP2 Not Pairing
- Check Your Connection
The first thing you should do is to determine whether or not your internet connection is the main cause of this issue. Try switching to cellular data and then try pairing the band with your mobile device. Make sure the Bluetooth is turned on and the phone is NOT on airplane mode.
To pinpoint the exact issue, you can try connecting your fitness tracker to a friend’s device. Just make sure to log on to their phone using the account you previously linked with your Up2 fitness tracker. If that fixes the issue for you then it is likely that there was something wrong with your mobile device.
- Remove Up2 From Your App
If your connection is working properly but you still can’t get the fitness tracker to pair with your device then follow these steps. First of all, remove your up2 device from the mobile app. After that turn the Bluetooth off and restart your phone. After that, you should soft reset your Up2 band. You can do so by reading the user manual or by following a tutorial off of YouTube.
After the soft reset just turns the Bluetooth on and open up your Up application. Then try pairing the Up2 with the app and it should probably have no issues in pairing with your mobile device after the soft reset. This method won’t cause you to lose all your configurations so there are no drawbacks in giving it a try.
- Clear App Data
Sometimes it is the mobile app that is malfunctioning which is why your Up2 is not pairing. To troubleshoot these minor bugs, just simply go to your phone settings and clear out all app data from the Up2 storage options. After you have done that just launch the app and log into the Up account that you have linked with the Up2 device. Try to pair the device with the app to check if clearing app data fixed your problem.
- Company Support
In case you’re experiencing a unique issue and these fixes are not working for you then you should get into contact with the company’s customer support team. Explain your issue to them by recording a video and sending them an email. Their customer support is very responsive and can even help you sort out this issue over the phone if you’re confused. So, just send them an email to have a professional assist you in sorting out this issue.
