NEST connectivity is pretty much great and flawless over

1) Check For Wi-Fi Connectivity

Make sure that your thermostat and device is connected with the Wi-Fi and has ample speed for them to connect with the NEST server.
You will also need to check on any settings that might be causing you to have the problem such as firewalls and internet access limits. Make sure that no firewalls are active and that your NEST devices have unrestricted access to the internet.
You will also need to make sure that you don’t have any sort of VPN enabled on your phone or the router. VPNs don’t do well with the connectivity on such servers and disabling the VPN would be the perfect thing for you to have.
2) Reset The Thermostat

3) Reset The Application
The issue can also be with the device and application that you are trying to use for accessing the NEST server. The first thing that you will need to do is reset the application. Logging in your application again will allow you to fix up any temporary errors that might be causing the error with connectivity to the server.
Once you have done that, you can try out updating the application as well and that will ensure to not get you have any errors and you can connect to the NEST Server once again.
