The Razer Chroma Integration is a great way of syncing your smart lights with your Razer devices, offering the option of changing into incredible color effects as you game. This way, you can have a great gaming setup with unbelievable aesthetics.
Still, if you are new to using Nanoleaf with this feature, chances are that you might have run into a problem while trying to do so. Using this article, we will be explaining everything that you will need to know to troubleshoot Nanoleaf Chroma Integration not working. So, let’s get started!
How To Fix Nanoleaf Chroma Integration Not Working?
- Updating Razer Synapse
If you are currently running an older version of the Razer Synapse, then you won’t be able to get the syncing feature to work. This is why we recommend that you make sure to download and install the latest version of Razer Synapse on your computer.
Similarly, another thing that you should do is to run the program as an administrator. Doing so should help remove any kind of permission issues that will cause further problems for you.
- Using Nanoleaf’s Desktop App
The sync feature present inside Razer Synapse no longer works as the feature was made unavailable in recent updates. So, if you want to sync your Nanoleaf lights with your PC, you will have to download the integrated desktop app for Nanoleaf.
Once installed, you can go to the entertainment tab where you should find a whole section for Razer Chroma. Here, you can easily sync and pair with your Razer devices. In case you are having a hard time pairing the devices, you can go through the user manual which will tell you exactly how to do it.
- Won’t Work with Shapes
Unfortunately, the Chroma Integration does not seem to work with Nanoleaf shapes as they don’t come supported with this feature. So, if you are using any Nanoleaf product that does not support the Razer Chroma, you won’t be able to do anything about it.
Instead, the only thing that you can do in this case is to get yourself a pair of new supported lights.
- Inspecting the Lights
Just in case, we recommend that you inspect your Nanoleaf lights and make sure there isn’t anything wrong with them. Start with the installation and wiring, ensuring there isn’t any kind of loose or broken connection.
We advise trying to run the lights without any integration. If they do work, then your lights should be perfectly fine. However, if you are unable to get your lights working even without the sync, then you might be dealing with a faulty product.
- Reinstalling Both Apps
If you are still facing the same issue, then what you can try is to reinstall both apps on your desktop. Before you do, we suggest ensuring that you have made an exception in the Windows Firewall and turned off any Antivirus product that may tamper with the installation or execution of the program.
Once you have them turned off, you can try removing the Razer Synapse and Nanoleaf from your computer. As soon as you are done, try installing the latest version of both apps before trying to use the Chroma Integration feature again.
- Contacting Support
At this point, there’s only one thing you can do, which is to get in touch with the support team. They should have a better idea of what might be causing this issue along with the things that you can try to get fixed. So, be sure to let them know everything you have done so far.
The Bottom Line:
If you notice Chroma Integration not working with your Nanoleaf devices, then ensure that you are using a supported device. Similarly, we have noticed how most users seemed to be using the older Chroma Integration which no longer works. In such cases, it is suggested to install the standalone Nanoleaf app that supports the integration.
