The Sonos Arc is one of the most successful devices from this brand that features an elegant design with a decent matte finish. The best thing about this system is that it is incredibly easy to keep clean, and you won’t be dealing with too many smudges on the surface.

Moreover, there have been no major complaints about the performance of this sound system. However, when it comes to LG systems, some owners have been dealing with issues connecting to the LG Sonos Arc Mode.

This issue is pretty frustrating and can be traced back to many hardware and programming issues. The following list of troubleshooting methods will further improve your perspective on the problem with LG Sonos Arc Mode not connected.

How To Fix LG Sonos Arc Mode Not Connected

  1. Remove All Accessories from Your TV

The presence of too many accessories is the leading reason behind LG Sonos Arc mode not working. If you’re in the same situation with a ton of accessories connected to your LG TV, you should remove everything from the TV, and then try connecting the Sonos Arc again with the TV. Don’t turn on the Sonos Arc mode until the Sonos application instructs you to, and that will help you connect to the TV without further issues.

  1. Check the Condition of the HDMI Cable

If the LG Sonos Arc mode was working well up to this point, then the issue might be related to the condition of the HDMI cables connected to the Sonos Arc. You will need to go over the wiring configurations and replace the wires if they are damaged.

Ideally, the wires shouldn’t be bent at any sharp angles, and there shouldn’t be any frayed sections. So, if your HDMI cable is in rough shape, the safer bet here is to get a different cable and then attach that to your system.

  1. Ensure Simplink Is Enabled

The Simplink system is the next thing that you need to check when LG Sonos Arc mode is not working. This mode should be enabled before you connect the Sonos Arc to the TV. So, if you missed this step, just remove the Sonos Arc cable from your TV, and then turn on this feature.

Once Simplink is turned on, you can try connecting the Sonos Arc again, and this time around, there will be no issues with the Arc Mode. Just make sure that the cables are fully inserted into the ports and that there are no loose connections.

  1. Check Ports

The condition of the ports on your Sonos Arc and the LG TV can also impact this error with Sonos Arc mode not connecting. Sometimes, the presence of excessive debris and dust particles can create connection issues.

So, you should try using an air blower to clean the ports on your TV and the Sonos Arc. Usually, this is enough to address these connection issues, and the system will start working once the LG Sonos Arc starts working.

  1. Reboot Both Devices

Minor programming bugs in the Sonos system can also be fixed by quickly rebooting both devices. So, remove power from your LG TV and your Sonos bar after removing the HDMI wire and keep them turned off for a few minutes. Once the few minutes are over, you can resupply power to both devices and then connect HDMI to your TV and the Sonos Arc.

Go through the setup process through the Sonos app and follow all instructions accurately. This should be enough to get your Sonos Arc connected to the TV, and there won’t be any other issues with the Sonos Arc mode.

  1. Reset Your LG TV

Lastly, some users were also able to address this issue by resetting the TV to factory settings. So, you should follow a similar approach and try to reset your LG TV. The reset procedure can vary depending upon the model of the TV installed in your house. So, just access the owner’s manual and reset your LG TV.

After the device resets, you can connect the HDMI cable with both units and go through the installation procedure again. The problem will likely be addressed at this point if there are no hardware issues with the Sonos Arc. So, make sure to reach out to Sonos support if the issue persists.

  1. Had this problem with an LG C panel, in my Family Room, multiple devices attached. Removed them all, still had the “devise interference” warning. Unplugged everything, TV, HDMI to ARC and the Sonos ARC. Still had the “devise interference” warning. Finally figured out it was interfered by the Sonos ARC Surround system in the Living Room that was associated with another LG TV G2 panel. Unplugged that Sonos ARC along with all other speakers, Base and Surrounds, voila, I was able to connect the Family Room TV with the Sonos ARC and Surround System.

Plugged the Living Room Sonos ARC, Base and Surrounds, no interference so far. So this is an additional work around for the issue if you might have more than one Sonos ARC Surround System set up in the household.
