So, be sure to keep that in mind when considering the next upgrade for your home.

Owners can easily sync up all the contacts from their smartphones, and it is further compatible with Alexa.

So, you can easily use voice commands to access different features brought forward by Echo Connect.

Unfortunately, some owners have been struggling with the availability of this unit, and it is becoming increasingly harder for users to secure a unit in good condition.

The good thing is that you can choose through some of these Echo Connect Alternatives to find the perfect fit for your home.

Echo Connect Alternatives

  1. Motorola AXH04

Motorola AXH04

The closest alternative to the Echo Connect is Motorola AXH04 in terms of features and accessibility options.

While it might not be the best in terms of smart applications, you will still get Alexa integration, and it is considered way more than a simple home phone.

So, if you’re not that worried about the price point and need a smart option for your home, Motorola AXH04 is the way to go.

It will fit you perfectly and will serve you with a ton of smart features that can make your life much easier down the road.

It is easy to install and only requires 8 AAA batteries to work. You can further use the mobile app to access the majority of its features without physically accessing the phone.

So, if you have the money for it, we suggest that you start out with this option and then make your way to other units down the road.

  1. Ooma Telo

ooma telo

Ooma Telo is next on the list of Echo Connect alternatives and brings a three-handset setup that can be installed anywhere on your phone.

This brand has been dominating the market for years and will continue to do so for decades. So, you’re sure to get the ideal performance from the Telo system.

This unit is primarily designed for emergencies and nationwide calling through the internet connection. However, if you’re looking for smart features and Alexa integration, this is not the option for you.

Other than that, the voice quality and all other features brought forward by this option are nothing short of phenomenal.

You will get decent performance, and Ooma Telo will fit right into your smart setup.

As far as the pricing is cornered, you will not get the best rates here. However, the value is still far better than any other options available on the market.

Moreover, you will not find a single owner complaining about the reliability of this brand.

You will surely thank yourself for this purchase, and you will never know for sure when you might need to rely on this unit in emergencies.

So, if you can spare a few extra bucks, it will at least serve you with peace of mind.

  1. OBiTALK

obitalk

This option from Obihai might be a bit more expensive, but you will enjoy integration with the Google Voice features.

Pricing is one of the more crucial factors to consider in most situations, but that is not the only thing that you need to think about.

On top of that, the access through different android devices makes Echo Connect suitable for most homeowners.

So, if you don’t mind spending a few extra bucks on OBiTALK, there is no harm in going with this unit.

The installation of this adapter is pretty simple, and you will have to purchase handsets separately to link up with the OBiTALK.

So, keep that in mind if you decide to put your money into this unit. It will serve you for decades, and you will not feel the need to upgrade to a better unit.

However, some owners do say that the value offered by the Ooma systems is better even though they offer fewer features in some cases.

  1. Siemens Gigaset

siemens gigaset

The Gigaset options bring a single Handset to your setup and can be considered a budget option when compared with other devices mentioned here.

While you won’t get the same smart features or integration with Google Voice or Alexa, this can be a decent option for emergencies.

So, if you’re trying to purchase a unit within the 100-dollar price range, the Siemens Gigaset is a decent option to start from.

It can be considered as more of a basic system when compared to other brands in the market.

However, if you’re just a casual owner that needs to put something aside as a precautionary measure, then going with Siemens Gigaset is not a bad idea. It will serve you perfectly.

  1. MagicJack

magic jack

Just like the majority of smart units mentioned here, you will get unlimited domestic calls and control with this unit.

Customer support is available 24/7, and you will not have to deal with any issue on your own. Moreover, the pricing here is much better than other options like Ooma.

So, if you’re short on budget and need a moderate unit to help with communication, then going with this unit might just be the perfect fit.

On the other side, this decreased price tag will hold owners back in terms of integration, as well as the lack of video conferencing and team messaging.

This unit is meant for casual use and doesn’t cost you that much to keep it maintained. However, if you’re looking for pure quality and features, then going with magicJack is not the best option.

You should focus more on options like Oomna and Motorola to find the right fit.

Otherwise, you will just be wasting your time on a unit that you will need to upgrade within a few months.

It all comes down to how you’re planning on fixing the situation, and going with magicJack is mostly the right fit for casual users only.

So, you should evaluate your requirements and then inform the dealer about these requirements.

He will list some more options that will fit your budget and comprehensively cover all of the required features of the unit.

  1. Panasonic KX-PRX

Panasonic KX PRX

This speakerphone can double as a smart system that offers complete assistant access.

You can pair it up with your cell phone to sync up the library, and the features on this device are comparable to Echo Connect.

The good thing about this model from Panasonic is that it falls within a decent price range. So, you won’t have to go out of budget to include this option in your setup.

You won’t have to purchase additional handsets with this option, and going with Panasonic is one of the most reliable options.

The dealer support is pretty phenomenal, and in case of any issues, you can directly engage the experts to troubleshoot the problem.

  1. AT&T DL72210

AT&T DL72210

This cordless option from AT&T might be more expensive than the Panasonic option, but you will get more handsets and better features with this option.

The only issue that owners have pointed out with this system is that the chargers were tipping out of place.

Other than that, it is a pretty solid alternative to Echo Connect if you’re looking for automated phone service.

All in all, going with OBiTALK and Motorola AXH04 should be enough to replicate the value of Echo Connect.

All other options have limited smart features, and you won’t get smart assistant access. So, in case of emergencies, you will have to manually access the device to call the service number.

Wrapping Up

Struggling to get your hands on the Echo Connect system? Going with the options mentioned here should help you closely replicate the performance of the Echo Connect unit.

While the pricing might vary, the overall features and response from these units is phenomenal.

You will not be able to get your hands on an Echo Connect directly, and the only real source is the secondary market.

Sadly, you will only find the unit in poor condition, and there is no way to tell for sure whether or not the Echo unit will work in your house.

So, it all comes down to luck when you’re dealing with a secondary dealer. For this reason, we suggest that you go through the list of possible options mentioned above.

You will surely be able to find the right fit without struggling with more issues down the road.

Moreover, you will be able to get a decent warranty deal with most of these brands. All of these options come from established brands that offer complete purchase security and stand behind their products fully.

So, you will not have to deal with any complications when trying to claim the warranty.

  1. I have an Echo Connect. I loved this thing and was terribly disappointed when Amazon abandoned it. I mostly used it to monitor my landline for incoming calls – letting Alexa screen calls to that landline. she compared incoming calls to my landlune to my smartphone contact list allowing her to tell me who was calling. it was great – having been flooded with junk calls on my landline.

Do any of the devices you know offer that functionality ? I’d love to get it back again !

    TNX !
