But sometimes even the best products can run into errors. In this article, we will be going over some common problems that you might face using Brava Oven and how to go about solving them.
Common Brava Oven Problems Troubleshooting
- Wi-Fi Error
Recently a lot of customers have been complaining about difficulties in getting their Brava oven connected to Wi-Fi. If you’re having similar issues then follow these steps to resolve this error.
First of all, make sure that your Wi-Fi channel bandwidth is on 2.4GHz and not 5GHz. Almost every smart device requires a 2.4GHz connection and is unable to connect to a 5GHz network. So, just go into the router settings using the web interface and change the channel bandwidth from 5GHz to 2.4GHz. After that restart your router once and try connecting again.
If your router has dual bandwidth available then you need to make sure that your smart oven is connecting to the 2.4GHz network and not trying to connect with the 5.0 channel. Either disable this feature temporarily or use your mobile hotspot with similar credentials on a 2.4GHz channel to sort out this issue. When the oven is connected to your mobile hotspot successfully, simply turn off the hotspot and try connecting to the router again. That’ll probably sort out your issue.
- Live Camera Not Working
Brava ovens have cameras built inside so that you can watch your food while it cooks. This feature gives you more control and ensures that you never overcook your food. If you’re having trouble getting this feature to work then here are a few fixes you can follow.
The most probable cause for this error is connectivity issues between the app and the smart device itself. The first thing you need to make sure of is that you’re on the same profile you registered your Brava oven with. Meaning that you should be logged into the same Brava account on your mobile phone as the one you used to login to your Brava smart oven.
If the problem persists then you should remove the smart oven from your mobile app and uninstall the app. After that restart your mobile device and install the Brava app again. Login to your Brava account and try pairing your oven with your mobile app again. Once everything is configured you should try using the camera feature and it should work without any problem.
- App Not Pairing
Another issue that customers are frequently running into is having trouble getting the smart oven paired up with their mobile device. Most often than not it is a minor bug that can easily be resolved. Here are some possible fixes that might help you sort out this problem.
A quick power cycle can sort out any minor bugs that might be affecting your system. So, just unplug the power cable and wait for around 30 seconds before you plug it back in. When your smart device has booted up completely you can go ahead and try pairing it with your mobile app. Make sure you’re standing within range to improve the signal strength.
If the issue still exists then clearing app data might solve the problem for you. All you have to do is go into the phone settings and navigate to the app option. From there find the Brava app and go to storage options. From there you can easily clear all data. Once that is done restart your mobile device and try pairing your app again with the smart oven.
If your specific issue is still not resolved or you’re having any other problems with the smart oven then we recommend that you inform the Brava support team and request them to help you out. You can do so by opening up a support ticket on their website or by simply mailing them the details about your issue.
